Canada’s Top 100 Employers { 2006 }

Veer was named to the 2007 list of Canada’s Top 100 Employers and Alberta’s Top 25 Employers by Maclean’s, one of Canada’s leading magazines on news and public affairs. The list singles out employers that lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees. Veer was among 60,000 employers in Canada reviewed and one of 1,500 employers included in the Top 100 application process.

Veer was honored with a Standard of Excellence award in the B-to-B category for outstanding achievement in website development. The awards received over 2,100 entries from 33 countries around the world.

The WebAwards recognizes the effort and ingenuity that must go into web sites in today’s environment of ever-increasing standards and competition for the almighty click. The Veer site, veer.com, was honored as the best B2B (business to business) web site - the only visual content company to do so this year. The site was designed by creatives for creatives and aims to present the unique collection of imagery and type with imagination and style. One esteemed judge commented, “... very elegant site. Contains a great many areas of information but never seem cluttered or confusing. Use of orange type for links makes information stand out but not scream at the viewer”.
