Veer Receives Record Number of Design Awards in 2005

Veer catalogs and merchandise praised by American Graphic Design Awards, HOW, and Applied Arts

New York, New York, December 5, 2005 - Veer, a provider of visual elements and design-related products, announced today that in 2005 the company has been honored with ten awards recognizing excellence in graphic design. Veer received awards for its direct-marketing catalogs and custom-designed T-shirts. The American Graphic Design Awards, HOW magazine, and Applied Arts magazine are among the award organizations praising Veer for its design efforts.

Veer Image Showcase Catalogs

The Veer Image Showcase series of catalogs reveals the depth of Veer’s royalty-free and rights-managed photography collections. Each book in the series explores four subject categories (for example, poodle, power skirt, junk food, and kiss from Image Showcase #1) via a selection of images from the Veer collection. The catalogs were printed on 100% recycled stock (with over 80% post consumer waste) and adhere to the rigorous Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification guidelines - the world’s strongest system for guiding forest management toward sustainable outcomes.

The Very Big Summer Activity Book for Creatives is a 100-page, pocket-sized book packed with design-inspired crossword puzzles, word scrambles, and brain teasers created specifically for the Veer creative audience. The activity book features Veer’s photography, illustration and type products in a fun and engaging way, while offering creatives an enjoyable diversion and hours of entertainment over the summer months.

Veer Visual Elements Catalog
