Veer’s Type City nominated for Webby Award
Website one of only five in line to win best of typography and best visual design-aesthetic.
April 22, 2008, Calgary - Veer, a provider of visual elements and design-related products has been nominated in two Webby Awards categories for its unique world of Type City.
Type City explores a wondrous metropolis where everything is made of type, even the animals in the zoo. It first appeared on veer.com in June of 2007 along with a companion print piece that provides a guide to Type City.
The Webby Awards is the Internet’s most respected symbol of success. The 12th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from all 50 states and over 60 countries worldwide. Webby Awards are awarded in over 100 categories including websites, interactive advertising, online film and video and the mobile web. Winners will be announced on www.webbyawards.com on May 6.
