Veer offers summer design internship
Student opportunity to join Veer’s award-winning in-house creative team
CALGARY (March 20, 2009) - Veer, a producer and provider of visual elements and design-related products, is now accepting applications for its summer internship program from design students across North America.
“At Veer we support the next generation of designers in a number of ways. Through our student scholarships with the Art Director’s Club and the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada, through our student discount program, and with this summer internship program,” says Veer’s Creative Director, Xerxes Irani. “The program lets our creative team benefit from a student’s fresh perspective and energy, and allows a student to apply their school smarts to real projects.”
The selected applicant will work for eight weeks with Veer’s in-house creative and marketing team, which has won dozens of awards for excellence in print and web design.
In addition to gaining valuable design experience and having the opportunity to explore the Rocky Mountain environs of Calgary, the Veer intern will see firsthand why Veer has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 employers.
Students must be enrolled as a full-time student in their second, third, or fourth year of an accredited graphic design program at a US or Canadian post-secondary institution.
