Black & white illustrations have image numbers that end in 'B' and have the following specifications:

For cropping flexibility, a high resolution file is provided no matter what usage media is selected, e.g. print, web, or electronic.
Color images consist of a 1-bit bitmap image embedded in an Encapsulated PostScript document. The color components of the EPS document are editable as outlines in either Adobe Illustrator (version 8.0 and later) or Macromedia Freehand (version 9.0 and later). Note that the embedded bitmap image may not be extracted from the document or edited on its own in some situations.
