After slow-motion replays from various camera angles, score counts and recounts, impassioned attempts to build concensus, and soul-searching deliberation, the Lightboxing judges have come to a conclusion.

The winner of this Lightboxing bout, on the concept of Dysfunction, by unanimous decision ... from Richmond, British Columbia ... Spence Fruhling!
The judges felt that Nick’s grid was a solid effort, but it just didn’t scream “dysfunction” the way that Spence’s hellish, man-toting doll did. His strong sense of composition and unexpected (and unnerving) use of the elements made him the hands-down winner. Never mind that the judges didn’t understand the quote in the banner, the fact that it rhymed was good enough for them. The Laverne & Shirley sweaters didn’t hurt, either.
Congratulations, Spence!
Stay tuned for the next Lightboxing event.
