BB : She must like us. She gave us a swirly.

SP : There’s something Dr. Seuss-y about it. Is that a map of Whoville?

DW : I like the swirliness. I like how the plastic people get sucked out into the world through the broken wall. Whoosh! Now that’s a “start”...

JP : The plastic people remind me of Christmas ornaments. Maybe the black dotted line is the “start” of the new year, and the swirls are holiday memories, fading into everyday city life, represented by the map.

SP : I love the way the patterns work together - the ornament-guys, the swirls, and the map. The only thing I don't like is the really blurry bit.

BB : Yup, it gets a bit smudgy.

DW : The ornament-people look like agitated molecules.

JP : That’s funny you’d say that, because the swirls remind me of those paths that subatomic particles make. I wonder if Marian is a closet scientist?
