After slow-motion replays from various camera angles, score counts and recounts, impassioned attempts to build consensus, and soul-searching deliberation, the Lightboxing judges have come to a conclusion.

The winner of this Lightboxing bout, on the concept of My Place, by unanimous decision ... from Basingstoke, England ... Matt Lyon!
The Big Bout turned into more of a street brawl and left the finalists bloody, bruised, and almost unrecognizable. Matt and Steve used very different fighting styles to edge out the other contestants. Steven all but removed color from his entry. Matt all but obliterated the original lightbox elements - a controversial move that saw the judges step in to confirm the usage; they were assured that everything was on the level.
Ultimately, type and concept won the day for the experienced Englishman. The feature element, the hand, appears to be clawing at the walls to escape. The sheer audacity of his piece landed devastating blows to the competition.
Congratulations, Matt!
