Student Discounts
The student discount program at Veer applies to all royalty-free illustration and photography, and type available on the Veer web site. Rights-managed images, physical and virtual discs, and items from the merchandise store are not included in the program. Students receive 50% off images and 30% off type when these elements are purchased through the Veer web site. Students also receive Veer catalogs and inspirational print materials, which they can sign up for in their account preferences.
Students must be enrolled in full-time studies (at least three courses per semester) at an accredited design or fine arts program. Discounts are only available to individuals, not educational institutions, faculty, or instructors.
Successful applicants will receive access to a special student account on the Veer web site. Students can then browse and add elements to their shopping cart; discounts will be applied when checking out purchases. They also receive a student starter kit of illustrations and type that they may download from the account page after signing in.
Students using free or discounted elements must agree to and abide by the End User License Agreements applicable to each element. Veer is in no way responsible for misuse, misrepresentation, or illegal copying of these elements, and will aid its vendors in pursuing legal action against offenders.
To apply for the student discount program, first register at veer.com/account. Then, fax a valid student ID card and current, full-time class timetable to Veer at 877 297 7977. You must also include the e-mail address and password you used to establish your account on veer.com.
Upon approval, your account will be activated and you will be flagged as a student. A Veer service representative will then e-mail special instructions on using your student account and you'll be all set to begin receiving discounts on applicable products and the other unique benefits of the student program.
