Scholarships

In partnership with the Art Directors Club (ADC) in the US, and the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC), Veer offers two annual scholarships to deserving students.

The programs are administered by our partners in consultation with Veer. Details on each scholarship program are included below for US and Canadian students, respectively.

Design students in the US:

As part of the Art Directors Club National Scholarship program, Veer sponsors a $2,500 scholarship to be awarded to a student in the discipline of graphic design.

Faculty members at selected schools across the country nominate two of their top juniors enrolled in a design program who have shown commitment and promise in their studies to apply. ADC National Scholarships recognize outstanding students who have shown commitment and promise in visual communications.

Design students in Canada:

Talented individuals from across Canada who are full-time students enrolled in their second year of a 2, 3 or 4 year graphic design program, who are also student members of the Society, are invited to apply for the Veer scholarship administered in partnership with the GDC National Scholarship Awards Program.

All submissions will be reviewed by Veer and the GDC board at the GDC National Annual General Meeting in the first weeks of May. Successful applicants are notified by mid-May.
