Sudtipos Type
  Alejandro's first foray into typography was as a child imitating the fantastic handwriting of his father and grandfather. Today he's the winner of several design awards, including four certificates of excellence from the Type Directors Club NY, and the co-founder of the Sudtipos project. You might say practice has made him perfect.

Shinn Type
  Nick's background as an artist, writer, art director, and graphic designer is reflected in his eclectic type designs. Having completed over 20 type families since 1980, his concoctions run the gamut from revivals to experimental work, appearing on everything from packaging and advertising to Internet, books, magazines, and newspapers.

Type Together
  Veronika Burian and José Scaglione met in the Type Design program at the University of Reading and launched the independent foundry TypeTogether in 2006. After their crazy college years of experimentation, they've "come to peace with the sins of their typographic youth." Now their main interest is finding innovative and stylish solutions to old problems.

& Günther Flake
Elsner+Flake type
  After 10 years of design experience, Veronika Elsner and Günther Flake founded Elsner+Flake Designstudios. Now they're conquering the world one font at a time, with the goal of creating a growing library of digital fonts. Today their database contains more than 2,500 examples, available in Mac PostScript, PC PostScript, and PC Truetype.

Nick Cooke
G-Type
  Nick credits his success to "obsession, perseverance, thought, and effort." His G-Type foundry aims to develop innovative, original, and, most importantly, usable typefaces. The new "clumsy aesthetic" doesn't cut the mustard under Nick's watchful eye.

Jason Walcott
Jukebox Type
  To drive Jason batty, just use a vertical foot mark as an apostrophe. To see him blush, call him "Lumpkin" (like his mom does). But why would you do that? He's a good guy, and quite smart, too. He graduated cum laude from Kean College with a BFA in Illustration. His Jukebox Collection is available exclusively through Veer.

  If Rian could revive one font, it'd be Dom Casual. Kill one? Any computer-made monstrosity on a road sign. He's a vintage design book junkie, so send him one if you want him to like you (though he probably already has it).
