What the heck is 9-Slice Scaling and why was my file failed for having it?

9-slice scaling lets you create movie clip symbols that scale appropriately without distorting your image. 9-Slice scaling can be useful but we'll leave it up to the buyer to make this change as older versions of illustrator may have issues viewing your image/file. Most likely, the box was accidentally selected in the symbol option panel. Please uncheck the box or copy your image into a new file, re-save, and resubmit.
