How are keywords added?

You can use the contributor tools to add keywords for one file at a time, or in batches. Or, you can provide embedded IPTC metadata in the software program of your choice (iView, Lightroom, Aperture, etc.) before uploading files by FTP.

When editing images on your Workspace tab prior to submission, be sure to disambiguate any term as needed when prompted.  For instance, if you have added a location name to an image, our system may prompt you to disambiguate between two different locations with the same name. Terms that are not disambiguated will not show up on the site as a keyword for your image, greatly reducing search availability for customers.
