What is a controlled vocabulary?

A controlled vocabulary (CV) is a set of terms or keywords and the relationships among those terms. The keywords you add to an image will be automatically mapped to terms in the CV. For example, if you've used the keywords cats and cute to describe an image, the CV will help make the connection when a customer searches for tabby and adorable, as well as any plural or singular form of the word. The CV improves the search experience, reduces the amount of work you need to do.
