A meaningful Ministry
We love when people show us how they've used Veer images and type ?
even in
tattoos. This one,
though, is particularly special. Chris Swymeler, a
creative directorfrom Indiana, shared
his story with us:
"So about a year ago, I wrote you and said I had tattooed my son's
name on my arm using Ministry
Script. You asked for a high-res shot. Here it is. I love my
tattoo and all it stands for. I tried to even work in your shirt.
It's a favorite of mine."

"Seven years ago my wife, Laura, gave birth to our twins, Joseph
and Matthew. We were stoked by the gift of life, but a little
bummed by their timing. 4 months early. 1lb 7oz furry little guys
with skin so thin you could see through it. After nine days of
fighting the battle, Matthew took his first breath in Heaven. Okay,
this is the sweet part.
100 days later, and a million prayers on the books, Joseph came
home and has been rocking the house ever since. 23 major and minor
surgeries down, and he?s loving second grade.
So this year, to breathe life into the worst day of our year, we
wanted to do something special. Something positive. Something of
character and love.
Without getting too churchy, our faith is super important to us.
And with a name like Ministry, and a font that had so many great
ligatures and fancy letter combos, it was my only thought.
So, God gets the glory. My son gets the arm. And, Veer gets
props for one incredible font. Life is sweet."
Thanks for sharing, Chris.
