The subtle curves, sharp lines, and intimidating angles of
cityscapes certainly attract the artistic eye of this month's
featured contributor, VeerGuy. Beyond just skylines, VeerGuy frames
the distinctive lines and shapes of a city's elements into
perfectly composed representations of man's (and woman's!) modern
The majority of his work is done in low light using a long
exposure. The bright streaks of light against the cool tones of
steel and concrete offer an authentic representation of the
fast-paced and sometimes intimidating city life. Shooting the city
"makes me feel the passion of life, especially the colorful and
dynamic nights," explains VeerGuy.
VeerGuy's vertigo-inducing perspectives, pristine reflections,
and bursting rays of light offer a city tour unlike that of any
