The subtle curves, sharp lines, and intimidating angles of cityscapes certainly attract the artistic eye of this month's featured contributor, VeerGuy. Beyond just skylines, VeerGuy frames the distinctive lines and shapes of a city's elements into perfectly composed representations of man's (and woman's!) modern marvels.

The majority of his work is done in low light using a long exposure. The bright streaks of light against the cool tones of steel and concrete offer an authentic representation of the fast-paced and sometimes intimidating city life. Shooting the city "makes me feel the passion of life, especially the colorful and dynamic nights," explains VeerGuy.

VeerGuy's vertigo-inducing perspectives, pristine reflections, and bursting rays of light offer a city tour unlike that of any double-decker bus. In short, VeerGuy is most certainly a city guy.
