Contributor Profile February 2013
Viktor Cap, based out of the Czech Republic, seems to have one
simple, reliable, mantra: less is more. He most often
features few elements in his images, and strategically directs the
eye to his single subject with f-stop finesse. In short, he really
knows how to work the depth of field - a trait most commonly
attributed to macro photography, but Victor, aka, the lightpoet,
reminds us not to draw the line there.
While Victor's subjects are no question the center of
attention, he also experiments with motion and shutter achieving a
similar effect: an exquisitely sharp subject pausing in a
fast-paced world for just long enough for us connect.
