About this typeface:
Plumero was designed using a calligraphy pen. Even after being digitized, it still preserves its handwritten spirit, allowing it to be more than ‘just a bunch of scanned letters’. Plumero doesn’t follow a strict baseline, as its ascenders and descenders bounce along the page quite happily. Its elegant capitals should only be used as initials. This font is suited for writing personal messages or short phrases and headlines. Ultimately, it is informal, fun, spontaneous and very personable.
About the designer:
Diego Giaccone graduated as a graphic designer from the Architecture Design and Urbanism University of Buenos Aires (FADU-UBA). In 2002 he won the Konex Award, indicating that he is one of the best designers in Argentine graphic design. Diego also speaks on design, typography and packaging. He was Design Director at Interbrand Avalos & Bourse and currently is the Consumer Branding Director for FutureBrand Argentina.
