About this typeface:

Associations enrich all forms of human expressions. While drawing the first sketches of Trentor, the goal was to give a pleasant touch of retro with geometrical exactness. A typeface which has relevance today and which should interpret the spirit of the text. Inspiration comes from a picture of Stockholm Old Town some centurys ago.

When Veer suggested an inline version of the font as well, it became more expressive, appropriate and Trentor found its true soul. The font family contain six weights: light, light inline, regular, regular inline, bold and bold inline and they all can be mixed. All weights of Trentor comes with an extensive set of ligatures.

About the designer:

Göran Söderström (b. 1974) is a self-taught Swedish graphic designer who started Autodidakt, his type design studio in the beginning of 2006. Göran has been working on various advertising agencies, where he always has had a typographic focus. Göran is also a music producer, focusing on soul and hip hop music.
